hello

well just bought a 919 been riding for over 30 years.....after going down on my vmax last year . 95 mph hit a back of a truck..walked of the highway alive nothing broken wearing no leathers......after 6 months of no bike wanted to get back on a bike for as least amount of money ...picked up a 07 new 919 for $7000...well when i picked it up and rode it home it never felt strange felt as if i owned it for years....could not believe how smooth the motor and tranny is...how smooth of a ride and takes bumps well........cant tell you how happy i am with this bike...took a long shot buying a bike blind and hit a pot of gold... Congrats!, Not even a test ride? I knew I wanted mine the first time I rode it and couldn't stop grinning. Enjoy and ride safe.

Glad you're enjoying the bike! I did the same thing - I had seen pictures of the 919 but the local dealers didn't have any, so I looked on CycleTrader.com and found one in Dallas and had it shipped to Seattle! It was well worth it!!

Hey there secondchance. There's a few of us here who stumbled on the 919.
I gave up an old F150 pickup truck for mine and couldn't be happier.
Well,... unless the wife gets her way and we move out west!

The biggest troublemaker you'll probably ever have to deal with, watches you from the mirror every mornin'.

thanks barton had it up to 5500 rpm..but not under full throttle... should pull like the 1150 e i had ... run the same times and i can still remember the pull of the 1150 so im hoping for the same..i see times of 11.1 ..11.2 on the 919 122 123 mph ..i ran those times on the 1150 e....919 and the 1150 are very similar
