G'Day from Aust

G'Day I'm Steve and i thought I would join up so I could chat with some like minded, 2 wheeled hoons

I just got my CB900 (919) about 3 months ago and I'm having heaps of fun on it. I ride everyday to and from work then give it a good thrashing on the weekends.

I'm not real sure what to say so if you have any Q's I'll be happy to answer.

steve.

Welcome aboard, Steve. And congrats on the new ride! There are many 9'er owners here and we all agree you have superb taste in motorcycles! What year is it and what mods (if any) have you done?

Okay... at least he does not ride a 919, I think we'll allow him in.

Welcome to the madness Steve. So.... what's your excuse for not being at the Shin-Dig mate?

its a Black 04 model. It's all stock except I put a set of oggy knobs on it. Future mods: Power commander, staintune slip ons, small screen, rearsets, belly pan and maybe a different set of bars.

I was going to put in a K&N air filter but that seems to be a waste of time from what I've heard???

The debate over OEM vs. K&N air filters is one of those that ranks right up there with what type of oil to run, ABS and non-ABS, what aftermarket seat is the best, and shields and fairings on naked bikes

You can ask 10 people and get 10 different answers. If one or the other offered absolute proof of performance or economic advantage, there would be no debate. Use what you want and enjoy it!
