About a 12 year hiatus from when I started a family until I couldn't take it any longer…not riding that is!

I can relate to that.
I was off for 10 years and I mean off, totally off.
We had moved and there were no MC fans or riders in the new circle.
I even stopped buying the magazines.
So when 2005 came along, I was so out of it, it was ridiculous.
Had to do lots of catchup.

Howdy old newcomer used to ride guy!

Welcome to where boys grow into manhood, but very slowly.

Thanks again everyone! I found a bike I had always wanted. It's kinda vintage, but in shiwroom condition. It's a 96 CBR Smokin Joe's. I last rode an F1, so I figured an F3 was
a good place to pick back up. I threw a couple pics in an album take a look & offer any opinions.

Hahaha! I can totally relate! I have no regrets & love being back riding, but as you said, I'm not in any 'circles' but the local shops offer group rides which have been a great break from the solo runs!

The 'circles' thing is so foreign to me. Few of my long time friends ride. Even new acquaintances.......if they ride, ok, if not, ok.

I guess when you are used to riding alone like me, there really are no reasons to ever stop.
