El Paso Rider New to the site

Hey everyone how's it Going? One of your current members turned me on to this site yesterday. I am an FZ1 owner so I usually post on FZ1OA.com but I see that there is at least one other El Paso, TX rider here so I will try and stay current on both sites. Name is Adam, Hope to see some of you around town.

BTW, I haven't searched the forums to much yet but if there isn't on yet, I would like to put together a thread for everyone that lives in a certain city can post to so we can all get together and go for group rides.

Later.

Welcome to Wrist Twisters!

Thanks for the quick reply. I can't go to Juarez due to my job, even on the weekends. Thanks for the offer and hopefully we will ride together in EP.

First we need to worry about "Don't Get Smashed by the Crazy Mexican Drivers" Run, drugs runs can come later...

It's always a pleasure to welcome another FZ1 owner. There are a few of us here who also belong to the FZ1 board and visa versa. wArDoG is one of my Sunday riding buddies.

Welcome aboard Adam.

El Paso eh? We have a small warehouse in El Paso for our company... mainly a hub for our plant in Juarez. I may be down there sometime this summer. I'll see if I can find a bike to ride.

Anyone that goes to the FZ1OA site (I no longer do) should post this article up there to see if this guy is a member.

http://www.ocregister.com/articles/m...police-vermont

This happened in Orange County, based on the pictures it's a gen2 FZ1 (looks like an 06, same as mine).

Howdy. I started with 'naked' bikes.......but that was a lifetime ago.

I am true blue.

Welcome , El Paso is probably one of the coolest towns in the U.S. Spent some time there at Bliss in 2004 for a trainup prior to going to Iraq. I have lots of good memories. I do have to say that there is no good reason to go to Juarez unless your looking for debauchery if so take a cab the cab drivers know all the places to go.

Welcome aboard Adam! Another (former) FZ1 rider here. I had a 1st gen and loved it. We had to part company due to insurance reasons but will always have a soft spot in my heart for the that bike. Still active over on FZ10A though -- mostly when there is a discussion about Bandits though!

Nice!!

Many of those mods will come with time on my bike. I need the good fuel mileage this summer as I will be commuting 4 hours from Ft Huachuca, AZ back to El Paso most weekends while I am in school. After School and after I return from Korea, I will start modding.
