Ciao

Hi
I was looking around internet trying to find a good solution for the fork of my Hornet 900, 2002 blt when found you guys. I' m from Italy and I love naked bikes. I have my 919 since 2 years (and 20,000 km) and now, in autumn/winter I want to try to refurbish her a bit: new fork, new chain pinion and back pinion (don't know the name) and new brakes with new pipes.

Lets begin by addressing your questions.

1. New fork: Does this mean you want to change the forks? You can upgrade them to a set of CBR600 F4 fully adjustable.

2.New chain pinion(front/countershaft sprocket) and back pinion(rear sprocket): Lots of good information regarding this topic and many others here. Whatever sprockets you decide to buy I would recommend staying with steel.

3. New brakes: I prefer the stock Honda brake pads. Many aftermarket pads will cause premature wear of the 919 rotors.

4. New pipes: Meaning aftermarket cans(mufflers)? The choices are numerous. Sato's are a popular choice for many of us.

Welcome aboard.

I want some pizza drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with sun dried tomatos and a big glass of Pepsi.
