Central IN here

Howdy all. I just bought an 04 919 with 18K miles and full GIVI setup. The bike is replacing an 03 Buell XB9R. I got tired of commuting at 30mph in a race tuck. I've only ridden it to work once, but I think I am going to LOVE this bike. It needs tires, and probably some suspension tweaking to compete with the Buell in a corner, but the motor is SOOOO sweet.

Hi neighbor! I live just west of indy. For 3 years now I have used my 02' 919 to commute 22miles and it sure works good for that. Riding to and from work is alot better during nice weather than driving for sure!
Enjoy!

I see you also owned a 599. I have an 04 599 in the garage right now as well for my wife to call her own.

Hey JM. Have you ever ridden 135, starting at Nashville, going south? There's an old feed mill that they turned into a burger joint. Very hi priced for what you get, but it's so cool, it's worth it. Take 135 to Bedford, then hop on 450, stop at Williams Dam, and the Covered bridge. Get some ice cream at RJs in Shoals. Then go to French Lick. If you want to go even further south, take 145 down thru Bristow, and catch 66, which runs along the Ohio in several places, north again.

I like the loop of 135 to 50 to 446 to 45 and back to 135. Some of the best roads available.
