Tampa again?

I've read some old threads about the shin dig in Tampa. Is it an annual gig? I'd like to meet some of these knuckleheads.

Annual, bi-annual, whenever the mood strikes for me to make a 12 hour drive.

The inaugural shin-dig was last November. It's up to Jet when he wants to do it again, but I would think it will become an annual gathering. MisterMike does one as well for the Nor-Easter's.

Gee, I wonder who this is, and what almost happened to him? And why is that man to the right standing with his fly open and belt undone?

yeah I will start planning this out soon.
Targeting October or November again.

I'm getting with my dirt track construction advisor/riding mentor/2 wheeled performance test pilot Saturday the 14th and we'll spend some time talking about how we could improve the track by renting a bobcat for a day.

I'd also hope to have water & eletricity before the next event. Either way, I need to start planning.

MisterMike handles the northeast during the beautiful season. I handle the southeast during the cold months.

Plus we've got a NC hotspot as well. I just need to get together an advisory council and get our events organized.

It sounds like a blast. I've seen the blackmail pictures. Consider me a volunteer when it's time. P.S. I don't wear snakes, and while I was born in Florida and therefore southern, I'm not so sure about the 40 ft. rebel flag

I'm sorry I missed it but will try to make it for the next one. I heard there's a guy there with a Hummer that doesn't let traffic pass him buy in fear of getting his POS truck dirty... that must be sight to see!

I look forward to returning to Tampa again. I vote for October though over November. It ended up really cold once the sun went down. Plus it's easier on those of us who will have to travel if it's not so close to the Holidays. Just a thought.

HEY - you leave my boy and his Hummer alone.

That is one sweet ride! And fun too! Mulford can attest to it. Rememebr the dude riding a bi-cycle on the highway we blew the horn at that almost swerved into traffic?

That was scary funny! I think he **** his pants...

And when you are climbing out of your ride at a strip club and a few strippers pull up to say they like your ride.... YOU GOT A NICE RIDE!

I am willing to keep the NC hotspot a secret!

A track big enough for a big bike, a private lake, well off the beaten path...

Hmm..... Me thinks it should stay a secret.

The only thing I am good at is removing all excuses. So, our fearless leader who has graciously provided this place for our sanity, entertainment, etc. has had the excuse of transportation removed!!!!

There will be 3-tickets (if you would like to bring the family) waiting for you at the airport as soon as you provide me with dates. All your options for air travel will be direct; Tampa to Hartford, Tampa to Lagaurdia, Tampa to JFK. May I suggest that you fly into Hartford.

If you so choose. You will have a vehicle at your ready. If you so choose you are open to ride any bike in the stable, if not all, depending on your length of stay.

wow.
How generous and gracious, catching me sort of speechless.

Please though, pay it forward to someone else you feel is deserving. I've been looking forward to challenging myself on that barcolounger of a bike in my garage and making the trip the hard way. Once my schedule is sorted I can commit to being there, 90% is the best I can promise at this point.

If there is ever a Shin-Dig in the Charlottle region of NC. I know some great places to hang out. There are a few great Tapas joints in the area.

The best part of being there for the N.E. Shin-Dig is to stay for a few days and hit NYC, the beaches, Boston, VT, etc. All a great time. I think there should be a few bikes available for a lucky chosen few.

I may even be married again by then?
