Where in San Diego will you be? I'm not much of a beer drinker myself but I can ask some friends that are.

You can try Kraul Stauss. They have one in La Jolla. Also if your in North Country Stone Brewery is excellent gotta try Arrogant Bastard. Alot of resturants in the Gaslamp Quater just walk around and you'll find something to your liking.

Ooh, I do dig the Arrogant Bastard, Escondido is a bit far, methinks. Thanks for the suggestions - any more you could provide would be great, Sugs. I'll be on Mission Beach, but I don't mind driving around Diego metro.

If you see a Rubio's, stop in and grab a fish taco or three. They are good stuff!

I second that and they do sell Beer in the cooler Boheima, Negro Modelo, & Corona. The best Fish Tacos ever! I can't seem to replicate them that well I'm close.

Just got back...suffering from a bit of food poisoning...(Guava Beach!)

Did hit up Coronado Brewing before getting sick, as well as Mission Beach Ale House and Bertrand at Mister A's for T-day.

Coronado: Great food, sub par beer...did the sampler and wasn't smitten by any of them

Mission Beach Ale House: Great food, good beer. Nice place.

Mr. A's: FANTASTIC FOOD, great view.

I'm going to wallow in stomach induced pain now.

Ah man Guava Beach in Mission is still there. I used to go there for drinks it was within walking distance can't say much for the food.

The beer is okay at Coronado Brewing nothing to write home about. It's too bad you didn't make it up to Stone Brewery.

Never been PB Ale House must be newer. I haven't been back in over a year.

Mister A's has had a rebirth in the last few years. Someone came in re did the whole thing and brought back to it's former glory.
