2 fun filled fabulous days at Jennings when the weather is perfect!
Hillbilly Steaks will be there with the aroma of some excellent bbq wafting through t14 and t1 - that's not to be missed. I've even be CR'ing on the beastly GS.
Get with Brad from Superbike Supply to sign up, going to be a great weekend and you should be there!
All riders on all bikes are welcome.
Would be cool to see a whole track littered with naked bikes. Would be a pretty fun event.
And yes, I would like to see two more adventure bikes in the beginner group. You won't be as cool as "the man" but he may let you wear control vests. :alucard:
Brad from Superbike Supply is a great friend and a very reputable solid person to do business with. He will put on one helluva trackday event and this is the perfect environment for all levels of rider skill.
I'll be control riding and working with whoever wants some help. I'd really like Wrist Twisters to make a strong showing here so we can meet face to face and enjoy some great riding and camaraderie.
Ok i'm just gonna be honest becuase you guys are all cool here. I NEVER sign up for these type of track days becuase even though they have whats called the "beginner" group i still feel like i'll be too slow or i'll be in the way. I know everyone always says if you are too slow for some one then they can just go around you but I have only been on the track once. .
Will there even be control riders for this day? How long will they stay out on the track with the beginner group?
Thanks for the honesty - if you didn't speak up then I'd never know your thoughts. Good on you girl!
I'll be control riding in the beginner group. I'll work with you and anyone else who would feel more comfortable with me near. NEVER be shy about asking for help, it can be intimidating so my job (and the other control riders jobs) is to help make it a safer environment for you to ride at your pace. Let us know what you need and we'll work to make it happen.

Thanks JB. I'll seriously consider going to this. Ummmmm can i just hire you to ride with ME all day? LOL! i look back at me video from the TWT day i did at Jennings and i think "wow, i really suck" so thats why i don't want to go.
I need to get a new set of leathers first. See there is this new line called Veloce, but i don't think i can get it by the track day.
hang on pequeña muchacha - let me set you straight on something - you really don't suck.
You got out there and did it. Which is a whole lot more than most riders ever do. You should be proud.
Yes, I'll work with you all you want - I can wick it up in the faster groups when I want to play but for the duration of the basic group I'm there to work for the people who want it.

awww thanks for the words. :001_smile:
If there isn't anything WIM can do by that track day then does someone on here have leathers small enough to fit me that they are trying to get rid of? Maybe a G/F doesn't need hers any more or something?
Hey Jet,
This is a long shot...
"IF" I were to be able to come down for this, what is deadline for sign-up? What would I need to do to prepare bike? What classes are there & how does one decide which one to enter? How big are the clasess?

Looks like 25 riders per group. I wonder if each group will be broken into sub-groups? Don't think there is too much prep on the bike except, taping lights, removing mirrors, fuses etc. and maybe water wetter for you. But i'm not Jet am I?

excuse my ignorance... 15 min sessions??? 15 min for novice group, then 15 for intermediate, & 15 for advanced? Then back to novice & cycle round again?

WIM will be there for you and can have it ready for you.
Wait... did i just talk in the third person or is it second? Let me try again...
I would love to come out but I'm in the same boat as h_ryder.
I've got a long distance to go and I wouldn't be able to sign-up till probably the last minute sort of a thing and it would be more then just me signing up.

Bunk! h_ryder is going.
Friggin' commit to it and make it happen. I'll be skipping classes for it. Drive out here after work on the 16th with the other Canadians and caravan with us Northeasterners down on the 17th. I'll be in the beginner group so you won't have to worry about me taking you out. Plus, you'd get the opportunity to try the 600RR out if you haven't bought something else before then.
