NC roads

Are there any good roads in the Greensboro area that a beginner could spend about a day on?

There are lots of great roads in NC. Just depends on what challenges you want. I spend lots of time in Gates county and Occassionally Dare County and Currituck (all north of you by a bit). But on occasison I have headed further south toward Ron Ayers and the Duplin Winery. Lots of fun roads off of Rt 17.
