MotoGP RedBull Media Day/Kick Off Event - PICS!

Nice hot day in Indy, great fun at the RedBull Media Day Kick Off!

53 local riders showed up to join in the fun, next year we need more!

Yeah, I rode the 9'er

Gin was BMW girl

Jared and Mark represented Triumph

Billy and Nathan rounded out the 919 group

A handsome bunch representing Wristtwisters! Clockwise from left, Billy, Jared, Me, Mark and Nathan.

RedBull photographers rode KTM 990 Adventures, I want that orange one bad!

Harley dealership guys rode up on two new 1125Rs and an XR1200, I commented that I'd like to ride an 1125R sometime and one of them tossed me the keys!

Crazy custom Colts Hayabusa drew some attention

2 seater GP Ducati led the pack

Gin and I rode right behind the Ducati, he popped a few wheelies, did a stoppie and several burnouts, all with a passenger! I've still got some rubber bits stuck to my bike, might just leave them!

They interviewed several riders at the RedBull event, jeez those guys are young!

We all had lunch together and shared some stories, then rode over the local BMW/Triumph dealership where they were having Triumph factory demo rides.

Gin rode a Bonneville, I checked out this massive 1600cc Thunderbird.

As we were leaving the dealership a BMW with a trailer pulled up and a crowd gathered, it contained the first S1000RR to arrive in town!

Great day, fun meeting up with WT members, got to test ride a couple of new bikes, saw a few MotoGP riders up close and best of all, NO RAIN!

Looks great! Wish I could have blown today off at work, but someone has to be the dedicated internet surfer in the office.

The asymetric design does take some getting used to, but I'm beginning to like it. From that angle you snapped it it looks good, like its pissed off at something, LOL.

+1 I don't care that the two headlights are different or that the plastic on each side is different. I LIKE IT!

Thanks for all the pics!
