Interested in a riding partner

I'm going from Ottawa to just outside Calgary next week hwy-17 to TC-1. I was going to go solo, but was wondering if anyone wanted to come along for the ride. Speak up if interested.

Cheers!

I meant for the trip as well. Never hurts to have a second on a long trip. But I'll definitely meet up with the Calgary riders when I'm out there. Hoping to arrive early next Friday. I think five days is just about the perfect balance between sightseeing and covering ground...

Are you in Calgary now? I would love to meet up with you to go for a ride. I have to pick up 2 bikes in Edmonton tomorrow morning and I just dropped my rear wheel off at the cycle shop. Steel belts were showing through the rubber. i will PM you my phone number. I should be back by about 1:00 and the tire should be done by then.

Gotta laugh.
As soon as I read Ottawa to Calgary via the TC, I looked at the calendar and said SNOW.
Gorgeous country, but can be brutal at this time of year. April riding is like September riding, you never know what you'll get hammered with.
Best of luck with the rest of your trip.

I used to cover the pulp mills all along 11 & 17 when Burlington was home.

I assume you get to The Gatineau a fair bit. Still great bread in Wakefield ?

Yeah, weather was brutal today. I went hiking outside of Canmore -Heart Mountain I think, and got caught in a wicked snowstorm with nothing to keep me from getting wet. I haven't seen snow since early February and its been snowing all day. This Calgary weather is something else, but then I do remember snowboarding in a t-shirt in January once...

You have to love the weather sometimes. Frostbite and a sunburn in the same day.

It was nice to meet and ride with you James. We will have to go out again soon. I talked to Tg919 yeserday and he wanted to go with us. Next time he'll try harder to come. We need to work on getting Mcromo44 out too. That will be a challenge! BTW I got my tire swapped out for the right one. Now I have the 2CT.

Sweet! I don't know many dealerships that would have helped you out like that... Did you get the road 2's or the 2CT's? Maybe its time to post up on the road 2 Love thread.

The ride was awesome as well, it was really nice to introduce me to your family and favorite roads! I've never ridden with so many 919's! BBQ for sure next sunny weekend, maybe even another ride, this time to BC.

Cheers!

I got the 2ct's. They must have changed the tread pattern though, still different the my wifes and yours. No matter I am sure I'll like it. Now I just have to do something about the worn out front.
