Hallett in OK

I'm headed down to Oklahoma this friday to see a friend in Tulsa, and we will be headed to Hallett on Saturday to track our bikes (looking forward to this!) Anyways, is anyone familiar with that track? Suggestions?

I may just have to make my way out there. I would just have to sneek away from work. But no i have never had a bike on the track.

Not a bike, but I've driven cars there.

You DON'T want to go off track. I think it's been repaved since I was there last - hope so. It was ROUGH before.

Anyway, it's a very entertaining track. You'll enjoy braking after "the Bitch".

Did you have the whole track to yourself, or was everyone behind you?

That was a sparse session, so it was like being alone out there. It was mostly Alfas, so as the weekend goes on, there are a lot fewer cars on the track!

So I loaded the bike onto the truck last night, and had to cage it into work today. It's cold and rainy and you would think I would consider myself lucky that my car was sitting in the parking lot, but instead I dread caging it to lunch.... I think I'm a Junkie!

Just thought I would post an update for Hallett track. Went down there with a buddy and two of his co-workers, and everyone had and awesome time (919, z1000, FJR and a Concours) We will be going back again. We all thought the "heart" class was pretty good also.

I installed a LDH supplied Ohlins the night before, and I give it two thumbs up. It's a whole new bike in a very good way. Not once did the rear end decide to get my attention. Gotta do something about the front now.
