Ft. Worth, TX??

Looking for some people to ride with. I ride a 2000 Vulcan Classic. Just love motorcycles and cruising around. Day trips, or long weekends. I'm 40, wife likes to go too sometimes.

I'm over in Carrolton area and just picked up my 919 this week. For the next 2 weeks I'll be traveling and will be doing some ugprades over the weekend but once I get back into town she should be ready to roll and test out the upgrades. I've had a hawk forever (still do) but always just used to commute between north D and South FW so I don't really know where the rider roads are.

im in the arlington area and always down for a good ride. There's one nice stretch of road by my house thats real nice. Twisty, changes in elevation, and its just been repaved and is super smooth. its only about 10 miles long tho, but i always do a few laps just for fun. Let me know if yall wanna go for a ride someday. Im good for fridays and saturdays.

Down 287 south to fm665 to fm875 by waxahatchie. Only takes me about 15 minutes to get there so i ride it almost every weekend. I actually saw a silver 9er pass me the opposite direction last weekend

I'm a Fort Worth urban dweller with a 919 and a place out not too far from Possum Kingdom as well, where there are some great bike rides to be had. I travel a lot, but when around, I'd love to do some rides. Where in Fort Worth are you?

Looks like we have a grapevine, Carrollton, arlington, Euless, and I'm sure a few more. We should get a ride together.

I'd say Mary's Cafe in Strawn, TX, but lots of bikers already overwhelm them. However, there's a new burger joint called Bonitaville Restaurant at 1800 FM 2951 on the Peninsula Road. They have lots of bike parking and the food is pretty good (plus some Alaska Brewing beers at the bar). Good destination for a lunch on Possum Kingdom Lake for like minded riders. Had a great lunch there before going out on the boat. Throwing that out there....

I'm not really from DFW area. I live 2 hours north just on the border in OK. Try this little route. Haven't actually tried it myself yet. The Red River Cruise | Texas Motorcycle Roads and Rides | MotorcycleRoads.com

So sounds like a Saturday ride would work for most. And it's a good day for it. Date and meeting point to start would be the next step. I'm trying to schedule a vaca for August, probably the weekend before Labor Day, but the two Saturdays prior to that are open. Any takers?

I read that article a few weeks ago, on the Red River run. Sounds cool. Have any of you rode the Three Sisters run? I been talking to a lot of bikers about it. Sounds fantastic. Maybe have to be a long three day or four day trip though. Maybe we could set up a labor day weekend trip?

West 820 HD dealership would work well, since it's on the route to get out to PK, if that's the direction we head in. And since it's a first time I suggest we make it a day trip, though I'm not against a longer holiday weekend trip in the future. Let's get to know each other before climbing in bed together (you know what I mean). How about the 18th of August?

18th is great for me. We could even go for breakfast early, there on Camp Bowie at the Rise and Shine. Only like a couple of blocks from HD dealer. Then head out.

Guys I would definitely be up for this but sadly I got some family troubles going on this weekend. I'm up for it normally on Saturday or even a Sunday morning for a lot of the summer, especially if it entails stopping for lunch somewhere and some cold refreshments (lemonade of course).
