Chicago Motorcycle Show

We just got back from the Chicago Motorcycle Show a few hours ago. Saw some really cool bikes there. That 1098 is simply beautiful in person. Also saw a Vincent Black Shadow, which was really cool. Some old school cafe racers. Ural had some bikes there too. Here is a picture of my brother and me sitting on and in the bike, respectively.

It was a great show, but the drive home left me somewhat depressed as I remembered that it was still winter. I've gotta move soon.

I use to love going down to this show...

Did they still have a bunch of vendors hawking some goodies? Typically it was crap but you could find some good deals on some nice stuff there... just had to look harder.

They had ultra-cheap leather jackets, but most of that stuff was off-brand. Everything else was just about what I'd expect to pay if I did a little internet price comparing. Chicago's big cycle store had some awesome bike deals, but I'm not in the market for a new bike.

We did see some really cool socks and gloves that were multi-layered waterproof fabric. Really cool stuff, I might have to get a pair of the socks. They had a sock zip-tied to the top of a jar with water inside the jar. You could stick your hand in it and your hand would stay bone-dry.

Isn't that called a condom? Are you sure you were at a motorcycle show?

I don't know, that would be one rough "condom." Though I suppose it would be pretty effective, not to mention quite durable as well.

Just wear condoms on your feet. Prevents getting her pregnant during foot sex also.

I'm going and some of us are meeting at the Honda booth at noon.
