Best Route to the Gap

Can someone detail for me a nice route from Oakville to the Gap without spending all of my time on the I-75. I heard that Blue Ridge PKWY is nice.

Thanks.

the park way is nice but slow due to its 45mph limit. To much traffic this time of year. Would take quite a while.

I75 is it, took it down and back, even checked with OnStar and they confirmed it as fastest route. Watch out for some of the whacko 18 wheelers running at 90mph in the dark of night. Oh and dont forget your bike key , speaking of experience I had in March when I hit Kentucky and realized the key was back in T.O..

If you're riding, I'm sure there are better routes to get there.
If you're trailering the bikes down, I would use I75 to get there.

Definitely 75 if trailer. If riding there are many routes. I am headed down end of May. Driven down to that area from here lots but this will be my first trip to the Gap with the bike.
