Depends on when you're going?

It's better to have loved and lost than live with the psycho for life!

If you like bike rallies and crowds this is your place. I rode though there in 2006 and there were bikes of all makes and types. It is supposed to be a well organized setup. It's not my bag, I just was passing by on my way elsewhere, but it looked like a diverse group.

After many years and many dreams I have realized my goal of riding in all 50 states!

Now the rest of the world!

Every now and then go away and have a little relaxation. To remain constantly at work will diminish your judgment. --Leonardo Da Vinci

I normally go up for a few days every year. This year, I have too many other things scheduled that week. I always have a good time despite the crowds and will go again. Chris

I saw this on the adv. board.

Went there today....No more for me!
Had 2 run in's with the police within 30 min. of being there...1st was for a friend with a non dot lid. His fault, I know. He told the cop I had an extra for him, and the cop told him not to worry about it, and cut him a break. Cool! Not 30 min. later, pulled over by a jackass from the Warren CO Sheriffs office on his police bike. Our group pulled in with him. Cop mentioned his lid, and when he did, I said I had a legal lid, and handed it to my friend. Suddenly he decides I need a ticket for loud exhaust. Loud exhaust I said? From looking at it? Not running? Said he didn't need a decible meter because it wasn't a stock exhaust. All the while bikes driving by us with open pipes, and I'm getting a ticket for a 3-1 supertrapp on my Triumph in a parking lot, with the bike NOT RUNNING! If we were speeding, or acting like assholes, I still wouldn't be happy with a ticket, but at least I would understand it! Hell, the guy told my friend that his Kawasaki didn't come stock with that exhaust. Problem was, it was a custom Softail! So those who are going, make sure your 100% legal eagle. Just because your not loud doesn't mean you won't get a ticket if you meet the officer I had the displeasure of meeting, and you have a non stock exhaust. Me? They won't see me again. I'll spend my $$$ elsewhere where it's appreciated.

This will be my first year without attending in the last twenty. I just can't fit it in my schedule this week.

Enjoy and ride legal,

Doc
