I haven't bought my tickets yet. Ridge had mentioned camping on his property. Is this still an available option? Once I can figure out where I staying I'll get the tickets. I was thinking about heading down that Friday and leave mid to late Sunday.

Haven't planned on the thurday stuff but did not know what was going on was any good. I only reserved the hotel for sat to sun, would have to crash somewhere else for the extra nights anyone going that needs someone crashing/ camping from a motorcycle. All that is if i sell my SUV Honda pilot

Because I enjoy a little peace-n-quiet after walking around a racetrack all day?

How much does it cost to camp at the track? Are there spots available to put everyone together in the same area?

The cost I'm not sure of, but as for the space...more then likely.

VIR is pretty wide open so I am sure we could find a spot.

I'm not trying to mess with all your plans, just thought it would be fun to camp out at the track. I have been wanting to do it for a few years now.

So far you are the only one that has asked about camping at my place. It's still about a month off and others may be coming in. We'll gauge it as it draws closer. I don't plan on camping at the track, being as how my house is 30 miles south.

I see on the schedule that you can do Vintage Bike laps on Sunday but I can't find anymore info on that. You know anything about that, Ned?

I've heard good things about the racing2savelives group. I think that if you volunteer you can get free race time?

NEED IDEAS!!

I have been trying to figure out how to do a Wrist Twisters get together during this event but am having a tough time due to the rural location of the track. I think that most people will either be commuting daily or staying in Danville.
What do y'all think? Should we just pick a time/spot at the track Saturday afternoon and get together then?

Give me some suggestions, please!!

I've given up. I offered up my place as a get-together for BBQ, relaxing, camping, whatever. Only one person asked about it, so I'm pulling out. At this point, I don't even know if I want to go to the races.

Exactly Kristen. If you want a get together at VIR, plan it then tell the guys when/where. They are guys after all. I wish I was going. If someone who is there wanted to be real nice they could get me a pic of Ben Bostrom.
