Adventure Rider's Challenge

Got this notice from Bike Bandit this afternoon, wish it were for an option for me...

If you've ever been inspired by the conquests of the Paris-Dakar Rally or the Baja 1000, your chance has come to partake in America's ultimate opportunity to test your enduro skills, socialize with other adventure lovers and get fed like a king!
The three-day Adventure Rider’s Challenge at RawHyde Adventures in Castaic, California is open to all levels of dual-sport riders. RawHyde welcomes both “Adventurers” to ride the challenge and “Challengers” who want to throw their cards on the table and compete! From log jumps to hill climbs to water crossings and more, the Adventure Rider’s Challenge will certainly put your skills to the test.

On top of the challenges, there are also daily adventure rides through the beautiful hills surrounding RawHyde, gourmet food and live music to enjoy in the evenings.

When: May 15th, 16th and 17th 2008
Where: RawHyde Adventures training center in Castaic, California
What’s included: Darn near everything ... your campsite, 10 meals, three-days of fabulous riding, entertainment, a leather-bound log book for recording your adventures and a riding jersey emblazoned with the logo of the event

RawHyde’s Adventure Rider’s Challenge will also feature some of the most experienced coaches one could ask for, including six-time ISDE gold medalist, Jack Penton, ten-time Baja 1000 gold medalist, Larry Roesler, and 2004 Paris-Dakar competitor, Paul Krause.

Click here: for the details on how you can take the Adventure Rider's Challenge ... or make it happen now and click here http://www.adventureriderchallenge.c...pplication.pdf to sign up!

Sounds awesome! Now, if they would just haul their asses over here to the East coast, all will be good.

Hey Scott!!

That's up the street (actually up Interstate 5, 10 miles) from me! I should've kept my CRF450X or at least my CRF250X. I miss riding the dirt. I was an ace motocrosser back-in-the-day.
