OK boys and girls
THis is the 4th Annual SPORTBIKE EXTRAVAGANZA its in Iraan Texas.
Here's the whole sordid story. A few years ago a small BBQ shack owner and his wife who ride SportBikes realized that there were NO SportBikes rallies.Harley's Goldwings, yeah what ever but nothing for SportBikes. So they got with the City Council and proposed a Charity event. Now in its 4th year its still the ONLY SPORTBIKE Rally in Texas. Last year it was over 600 bikes strong! With a stunt contest for big bikes AND Pit Bikes. 50cc 2stroke annd 100cc 4 stroke dragraces, free BBQ chips and drinks for lunch free admission free camping free entry into the stunt contest(participants AND spectators).
A 50/50 raffle with proceeds going to the local Senior Citizens Center.
Iraan is in the Middle of NOWHERE but there is some decent riding in the area and when the bikers arrive the town rolls out the welcome mat! this is the biggest event of the year in what is essentially a ghost town.
Attendance has doubled every year so we're expecting 100+ bikes this year come on down and hang out!
EVERYONE is welcome ALL types of bikes and riders! No attitudes just some good fun!
