A bunch of the gsxr parts can be swapped over from the 750/1000. especially suspension. As a track bike I've even seen full gsxr 1000 fairings on an sv650. Thats if you don't sell it tho...

I have ridden a 03 on the track for a few laps. It had minimal suspension mods and stock motor. The only change was a renthal bar. The thing was a blast and you can embarass some fast bikes on smaller tracks or tight roads. I say keep it and mod it for the track.
