I would ask you if it was worth the wait, but I already know the answer to that!

When are you taking it to the track?

After many years and many dreams I have realized my goal of riding in all 50 states!

Now the rest of the world!

Every now and then go away and have a little relaxation. To remain constantly at work will diminish your judgment. --Leonardo Da Vinci

the tape is straight from factory. i think it is to cover the hose from the exhaust's heat because of the exhaust position.

He will tell you he is a lawyer and owns a bike shop, but don't let him fool you... He lures unsuspecting forum members to Malaysia and then takes incriminating video of them dancing like a white guy and then blackmails them with the threat of release of said video to Youtube. Or so I have heard

Wow! I saw the KTM RC8 all carbon fiber at last year's Cycle World motorcycle show. I have yet to see this Akrapovic Edition - what's the story on them? Limited run? What goodies separate it from the base model?

News: International

Debut in Hockenheim: KTM presents the 1190 RC8 R Akrapovic Race Replica!
KTM, the sports motorcycle brand from Austria has presented the first of 100 RC8R Akrapovic Race Replicas at the IDM (International German Motorcycle Championship) finale 2009 in Hockenheim.
While ex-Grand Prix winner Jeremy McWilliams made his second race weekend appearance for KTM-Akrapovic in Hockenheim, Germany, on the 190 hp RC8R Superbike, visitors to the IDM finale were also able to view the first of a limited edition replica of the official racing bike, which is now available for purchase.

Thanks to its integrated Club Race Kit, inclusive of an Akrapovic EVO4-exhaust system, modified cylinder head gasket and injection mapping, the 1190 RC8R Akrapovic Race Replica can now achieve 180 hp and is therefore one of the most potent of Superbikes on the market. And anyone who rarely lets off steam on a closed racing circuit can use the noble replica with the distinctive Akrapovic scorpion to ride with passion in normal traffic, with the normal stock exhaust system.

The two-cylinder bike, which has already been successfully deployed in the IDM, is already available as a series model. It represents a highly modern Superbike concept that is refined with high quality components, race-ready WP suspension elements and Brembo brake components. Every single unit of the 100 specially-numbered motorcycles is a lightning fast collector’s item and proof of the strong cooperation between KTM and Akrapovic, the leading manufacturer of high-end exhaust systems.

Effective immediately, the 1190 RC8R Akrapovic Race Replica can be ordered from official KTM dealers and is available as of October this year.
