WT discount @ WSIR on 10/27

Jayfooey worked out a deal for us with the owners of TrackXperience.
We need six riders interested in doing a track day; we buy 5 spots and get the 6th for free. That's like 16% discount, which makes the entry fee $112.50.

That's a great deal folks. It includes free instrucions, sport massage, water, gatorade, BBQ burgers and dogs, and ... lots of laps.

Here's Jay's thread: https://www.wristtwisters.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=14990

We have over six weeks to plan for it. So let's do this.

Mike

Additional rules to get this discount:

Everyone must pay in advance and on the same day.

There will be a list of people going and the levels they will be riding in
there are 3 levels and a school...

Novice school
level 1 = beginners = slower riders
level 2 = intermediate
level 3 = Advance = fastest riders

I will give Jim Hoskins the list on Saturday October 18th
The day everyone has to pay is Monday October 20th

Post up to get in on the discount, and so I can put you on a list of who's going.

1.) Sokali = level 2?

I think so. I did Keith Code's level 1 on Sept. 21 and would like to do level 2 on October 11 or 12, so I should be ready for the bump.

I'd drive up from Phoenix in a heartbeat if it wasn't during finals - I would love to learn about track riding in a controlled environment. I hope you get enough participation.

Jay,

Thanks for working out the deal for us, too bad there's no interest.

Do you know of anyone looking to sell a 600cc track bike? Hopefully fuel injected.

BTW I'm trying to do level 2 at CSS on Saturday, Oct. 25th.

Can I run the first session in L1? I wanna work on my confidence level.

See ya on the track
Mike

Mike,

No worries about the discount... Good people like MisterMike, RD, and many others from the old 919 forums, now on Wrist Twisters helped me learn about my 9er, So I just wanted to give something back.

There always something for sale on the Socal sportbike forum... Also if can probably find a tracked out 600 at the WSMC races... I'll be at the races next Sunday helping my friend Pancho Spain, Pancho is in 1st place for rookie of the year at WSMC. Pancho runs 1:26 lap times, That's pretty quick for a 1st year rookie!

I'm pretty proud of you for working so hard at becoming a better rider, remember all you do at the track transfers to your street riding, handling many situations efficiently & quicker, which in turn makes you a safer rider!

Mike sign up for level 1, when your ready to bump up you'll need to have an instructor ride a couple laps with you and see good enough to go up a level, but then again if your going too fast for level 1 you may get bumped up anyways! Also something to think about... If you get frustrated by slower riders in the OMEGA (Turns 3, 4, & 5) because you know there is NO passing allowed in that section in level 1, then you should bump up into level 2.

Ride safe Mike, I'll see you at the track!

There are some squids, like any forum...

But actually there many many track riders & racers on that forum!
including many AMA racers, Josh Hayes wife Melissa, Jeff Tigert, Jason Curtis... to mention a few... California Superbike School instructor Stu, TrackDaZ co-owner Dustin Coyner, Chaz Davies Crew member/ engine mechanic Josh... are some others.... there are a ton of WSMC racers on that board, including myself...
There are more track riders on that forum than any forum I've ever been on,
and I'm on a lot of forums! I'll bet there less squids on that forum than you think!
