In a way, I have a sort of connection with him, OK, I'll claim one.
I have a good friend living in another country, that was tasked with making a new shift drum for J S's MV Agusta, as in the one in J S' private collection.
There were no drawings, just the old badly ruined part.
My guess is that it was one of the best tasks given to him when he was still a machinist at an extremely specialized shop.
