Track info?

Wondering if any of you flatlanders... Illinios... know anything about Autobahn, in Joliet, Illinois?!

What kind of track is it? Fast? Long? Quick Sweepers? Tight hairpins?

I have an opportunity to take a very high speed car there for a day and am wondering if it will be the right place to do so. Any and all info would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, got nothing for ya. I'm hoping to head to that track or BHF Raceway for a track day this summer but nothing is cement yet.

I rode there last year over Labor Day. Rode the North course on Saturday, the South course on Sunday. Was supposed to ride the full course on Monday, but it was raining when we got up in the morning, so we headed back to Georgia.

Overall, a fun track. I was really concerned initially that it was going to be pancake-flat, but they've sculpted a few hills into it, which is good.

North course, to my mind, was a little more technical. It's also a bit shorter. Not a ton of straight fast, but definitely a blast.

South course was faster, less technical. For some reason I couldn't get a good line on turn one, but other than that, I felt pretty good about it overall. Also, I think it's flatter, but that's an impression.

I have ran there it is about 30 min. from my house. It is great for a local track but for spectators it kinda sucks.
