just got an email from a friend cause we were talkin about my upcoming trip to summit and the repaving...and he told me about this

Championship Cup Series Mourns the Passing of Alex Lyskawa

Summit Point, WV (May 26, 2008) - Championship Cups Series regrettably announces today the passing of Alex Lyskawa, age 13 of Londonderry, NH, after being involved in a multi-bike accident at Summit Point Raceway. Our prayers and condolences go out to Alex’s family and friends.

For further information please contact Championship Cup Series President Kevin Elliott at the CCS Offices in Forth Worth, Texas.

That is terrible! 13 years old !!!! RIP Alex and condolences to the family and all involved. That is just terrible.

RIP. Cant begin to imagine how hard this must be on his family.

Too dang sad. As parents you want your kids to enjoy and be good at what they like to do, but you have to draw a line somewhere in the sand. It is sad enough to hear about an adult but a kiddo is another story.
