Silly Season... You gotta love it!

So, Pedrosa decides to jump ship with 5 races to go... WTF???

http://www.motogp.com/en/news/2008/P...mediate+effect

On one side of the token, his season is pretty much doomed so he's goota a jump to the new season with the bridgestones and he can finally get that ellusive Championship that Honda & Repsol have spent millions on. On the other side, who changes tires mid season if you still believe you got a shot at being Champ? yeah, yeah, yeah, Rossi & Stoner can DNF the rest of the season and he can take the Championship

Now, conspiracy theories... If Nicky is almost a shoe in for that GP9 ride on the Ducky, why is he not jumping ship as well? I know they are two different bikes but, wouldn't the switch to Stones help him with the tire transition?

Dammit, this is almost better than whatching those boring races isn't it?

Pedrosa has always shown he is a turd. He will jump ship at anytime if he thinks it will benefit his 3 Foot butt.

This is one of those times I applaud Nicky. Nicky is known for his loyalty and conducts himself with mutual respect. It might he just doesn't see the point in jumping ship right now since he will do extensive testing on the Ducky at some point anyway... just my thoughts.

I was actually thinking about that myself. He is one of those guys that likes to leave his doors open, you never know if he needs to comeback to them on some sort of form or another...

It appears Turdosa didn't do to bad on the stones on testing, the big boys were not there but, alledgedly, he was about 8 tenths below his race pace, had the best lap time and felt comfortable with it.
