San Marino - Run & Won - with spills

OK,
I realise some of you people may not have had a chance to watch yet.
I only saw race one as race two comes on a little late for us.

So I will only say this:
Spoiler:
Four different makes of bike in the top five positions - gotta be good for the sport

Now, just gotta get some "good 'ol boys" in there to spark some interest

Not one of the best races but it was better than watching re-runs... it was raining cats & dogs here so I missed much of the races (that's the downside to going with DirecTV)

I thought this was funny:
Australia will only be represented at Misano by Corser and Bayliss, with teammates Karl Muggeridge and Josh Brookes consigned to spectating duties after a bizarre chain of events centered on the hijacking of their team truck.

While en route back from the last round in Silverstone, the truck, containing race bikes and spares, was hijacked by a gang when it stopped for refueling near Calais. The driver was kidnapped for more than six hours and the truck diverted.

The driver was able to escape in Belgium, where he alerted the police and confirmed the names of the people who had committed the abduction.

Police have since found the truck but, for legal reasons, the team’s equipment cannot yet be returned to them - forcing Muggeridge and Brookes to miss Misano.

Do you mean funny as in haha, or funny as in weird?

I got the impression from from Sunday's telecast that his sponsors went belly-up. Could it be that the liquidators "hi-jacked" the equipment. I'm sure they said the two riders are released from their contracts

I meant funny weird, I am big fan of Brookes and Muggeridge.

I am not sure about them being released, this article doesn't say that:

"On Friday the 8th Carabinieri have given us communication that the truck has been found and is now in a safe place in Trieste, again judges have [confiscated] the goods," the team continued.

"This, and only this, is the reason for which we will not be able to participate at Misano on the 17th of June. There are no reasons to retire from championship, nor any financial difficulties whatsoever. Those who are responsible of the above mentioned facts have already been identified and will have to explain their actions in front of a judge.

The team intend to return to the championship at Brno in the Czech Republic in five week's time.

Yeah - that article was written two days b4 the TV telecast.
Thanks for the link though, I was wondering who won LeMans and it's all in there!

I couldn't find any more info on Muggas by google either.
