Power Situation at Barber?

Far as I can remember, power outlets are very, very limited? I've fumbled through some site photos I have but don't see any power poles anywhere. Anyone remember if there is power on any of the three levels?

I am assuming we'll get there pretty late at night and be pitting up on the second or third deck so anything near the control tower, castle grey skull, is out.

Anyone wanna lend me a generator for a weekend? I guess it doesn't hurt to ask?

Last I knew you could buy power but I never saw an outlet anywhere. I'll loan you my generator, just come pick it up.

haven't been ther in over a year (cause i'm a douche-douche-douchebag) but as i remember, they're against the inside of the pit wall...bring some long extension cords

whether they're available for use is a different story. mostly mgmt seemed concerned w/ folks jackin in all kinds of stuff and goin nuts...

i just plugged in a radio to hear the announcements, it was key for the far end of the pits

notice the cords crossing the lane ...

There are power outlets on the second tier, but they cost $25 a day. They are at the rear of the paddock on the second level, and they are locked. You have to go down to the maintenance garage and beg for a maint. guy to come up and turn it on. Some of the CR's were stringing loong extension cords on the lowest level from inside pit row through the fence and so forth, but I don't know if they had to pay or not.

Thanks for the input guys. I would love to get down on the pit out wall but I guarantee those spots get taken first. Gonna have to look at trip times to hopefully make it there in time. Will also call the track this week to check on the second level boxes.

Paul, gonna be down there for the CCS races on the 11-13 of August. Plan is to swing through "northkakalaki" to pick up Greg and then head down. If we head out at a good time from his place, may be able get in the gates early enough. But you know how the beers start flowing the night before a long road trip... Jennings?

We are signed up for three races on Sunday. MWSS and HWSS will probably start at 10:00am and are running back to back (should be interesting...lol). And then we're doing MWGP somewhere between 2:00 and 3:00pm, I'd guess.

Stop by... the more the merrier!
