That was a really pleasant trackday. Very coordinated, very organized with classroom instruction. Very focused on skill development and improvement. I served as a control rider for the day and had a great time for 2 sessions where I got to wick it up, "instructor sessions".
Only one incident and just a broken ankle.

May that be your broken ankle or somebody elses? Not that it doesn't suck for the other guy (if it wasn't you) but it would suck more if it was you as you probably won't be ready for the shin-dig

Did you stop for latte's at Turn 8?

Figured they could deserve a break by then.

not mine, someone else. Too bad, we were hoping for an incident free day.

I did shave a little time in 3,4,5,6 and figure I was in the 1:34-:35 range, not bad for a stock GS. The next closest rider was clocked at 1:37 and I had him by a good clip. It's a fun group of what you'd expect, mature BMW people with some interesting stories.

Oddly enough lattes were not being served.

All different BMW's were there from K75's to LT's (like Goldwings) with a few GS's thrown in also. I figure I was running 1:33-35 on the GS which prettymuch made me the fastest guy there that day, a very very unusual occurance.
