Lucky in Love I guess as I opted for Rain race and... NOPE, the Gods decided to punish me once again!!!
Race was ok for the most part, Rossi made it a great race but it was to be expected I guess, Temps didn't pan out for most of them it seems and Dani was able to hang on to Rossi but, as always, didn't do anything at the end. If the kid can get away at the front w/o anyone pestering him for a few laps, nobody can touch him but as soon as he has to follow the leader, he gets tangled up on his own racing it seems.
Don't know what's the story with Stoner but ever since MotoGP.com decided to change its format, I haven't read anything there so I am behind the times. I thought he was going to mount a charge at the end but, alas, it wasn't ment to be. Colin, what can we say about Colin that we haven't said before, I like the man but I just don't know what's on his mind come race time.
Nicky Hayden, the boy is going to be the death of me, starts really good, post a 4th place for a few laps, starts to go back in a hurry and then, he comes back a few places at the end... to little to late!
Good show on Melandri, I had already forgotten he was on MotoGP this year. Not really a fan of Ducati but I do believe (or wish), Melandri would swap rides with Nicky, I honestly believe it would do them good. Hell, I even think Nicky could help develop the bike a bit better for both Stoner and him and mount a good challenge nextyear.
At least the producer kept us a bit entertain showing us the fight for 4th... nice freight train. That long back straight seems to like to bite people in the ass huh!
