Yes, wow indeed.

The trackside commentators were saying there is a short term advantage to the non-factory teams in the softer compounds for qualifying, but the factory bikes are looking at using the extra-hard for the race. It will last better in the afternoon heat, and ironically the lower-tier teams can't use it, so they are expected to fall back through the field.

Suzuki must have built a good bike, though, 2nd in qualifying is not to be sneezed at, tyre choices or not.

Aleix and his brother are about as = as two riders can get.
So far it looks like the Suzuki might be better than a tech3 Yamaha.
Would be great to see the Aprilia up there too. Hard to keep in mind
that Aprilia rushed in a year early. Next years bike should be a lot better.

Some sad footage of Melandri's Aprilia being pushed across the infield - I wonder how much patience he has...

Hopefully enough to realize how very lucky he is to get another shot at MotoGP on anything that is allowed to grid and someone else is paying.

One for the ages - watch the whole thing, if you get a chance, don't fast forward a moment...

I don't know why the fim reviewed the crash. What they should have reviewed
was mm hitting VR mid corner 150 yds before he crashed.

Good race. Hard to believe the patience required to pull that win off.

And how did Iannone not protect the inside on the very last corner is beyond me. Great race. Nice to see Suzuki being competitive so early in the season.
