WOW Qualifying at Mugello was close.
I can't remember the last time the top 15 was separated by less than 1.1 seconds (1.051 ) seconds.

Also good to see the 2017 contracts getting settled, of note : Vinales to Yamaha and Iannone to Suzuki. I haven't looked yet but assume Pedrosa is staying with Honda.

Yes, I think the Pedrosa one is signed and sealed.

Yeah, J L's bike puked and engine in warmup so they changed it.
V R's bike puked its engine during the race so he DNF'd and unless something bizarre happens such that J L and M M mix it up/bin it/DNF it in some subsequent race, Rossi's chances for the title went "poof" today.

that was just unbelievable (VR's bike).. I wonder what happened to the yamahas.

hope i wasn't wrong about ducati keeping Dovi, was so bummed when he blew that corner. I still think he's probably a more consistent rider than iannone.

what a great finish to the race, i couldn't believe my eyes haha

3 of the 4 (or maybe 4 or 5?) DNF's that dovi has had this year were 0% his fault, and most of them he was running competitively in the top 5 when he was taken out... If you just look at the finishes and results this year Iannone looks better, but dovi has definitely been more consistent with a terrible string of bad luck

That last lap battle was so much fun to watch. Just a shame we didn't get to see Rossi's "Mugiallo" helmet in the mix.

Moto 3 was insane... Almost always my favorite race to watch, something like 3 seconds between 1st and 14th at the finish, 7 wide into corner one the whole race

yea i really felt bad for Aron Canet, he cracked me up in the other race when he was waiving the guys to follow and the commentators are like "wth is he doing he's a rookie?!".. that highside looked painful. sounds like he's ok though haha.

Awesome seeing the rookie who got 2nd and how excited he was too.
