Smooth. The dude can still ride an intolerant bike faster than most.

Those sure were some boring races... other than crashes Moto2 didn't have anything going on.. I don't think I saw a single pass in the GP race after lap 4... Moto 3 was exciting... Brad Binder coming from last on the grid (35th) to win the race by 2 seconds... That's got to be pretty deflating for everyone else... I don't know how you can compete with that.

Yea that moto3 was amazing. I usually don't watch them but i heard it was pretty incredible so gave it a shot. that was nuts.

hey cal cruthlow finished a race! that's big news!

so what's everyone's take on Michelin and these tires.. i feel like.. if this were a US Sport we'd be beating them to death like we do all controversial subjects in football.
I like how the racers are typically understanding and happy with Michelin, but after this race they seemed a bit fed up.
How long does a process like this take? why did they change from Bridgestone anyways? $$?

Moto3 is the most consistently exciting to watch...

Michelin went too far making the rears too safe by making them too stiff.
All because of Argentina.
The lighter riders, or those with peaky engine power delivery not well smoothed by the electronics, really paid the price.
I think a case can be made that the rear favoured Rossi, in terms of having the ideal bike, being heavier, and being a tire management maestro extraordinaire, plus his heavy emphasis on getting the best settings possible for the race and its duration, track temperature included.
