Thanks for your message - I don't fret about the lack of response - I post things up that I find interesting, pretty sure that others will find them interesting, too, without really having much to add. It's all good.

Ditto above - Lots of drama about our local MMP track in Utah. I really wished MotoGP would have made a stop. I would have paid a pretty penny to go see that!!!

A few observations :

Lorenzo is in a class of his own at present.

The Yamaha seems to have been more inherently suitable to best integrate the package of series enforced changes. (I wonder which fuel tank location Lorenzo and Rossi will fix upon)

Michelin sounds to have done a good fast job of improving the front tire, something that was badly needed.

Stoner can still stomp ! Amazing to see him as the fastest Ducati right away. What a loss of racing talent he was when he quit MotoGP.

Two extracts from a fresh news article on CrashNet:
MotoGP's new unified ECU will not continuously adapt traction control and fuel consumption during a race.
However the single ECU can still be set up for corner-by-corner adjustment over a single lap.
Read more at MotoGP News - MotoGP: No ?adaptive strategies? for single ECU

This sucks. I am really going to miss the moto 3 races and it would have been nice to see the new Aprilia race a few times.

Knowledgeable sources confirm that both World Superbike and MotoGP will be televised in the US on the "BEIN" Sports television network.

Those insiders suggest that both series will be televised "live" on Bein Sports.

I don't have cable so just pay for the motogp video pass and get all the races. If you split the purchase with a few friends that all get together to watch it its actually pretty cheap

Let alone all the historical races one can watch.
Anytime.
As often as you want.
PLUS race coverage is at least 1 hour 20 straight and there is no advertising at all.
The MotoGP pass is a mega bargain when shared.

Vinales progressed greatly last year.
We've not yet anywhere near seen the best from him.
I think we could see some serious upheaval this season re the race results.

Ordered up beIn Sports so I can watch the races this year. Had to juggle the packages around so the monthly bill is about the same. I guess a la carte channels will never be offered.
