minigp bike selection

So I got the racing bug and I suspect it's going to break but but I digress. As it stands I'm riding a buddies spare bike in the classes he is not in (we can't be in the same race because the #'s on the bikes are the same.) AFAIK he has 3 bikes for racing. 2 KLX110s for sprints and 1 XR100 for endurance. I'm limiting myself to 1 bike, so I'm having to weigh out my options.

TexasMiniGP <--- shows the classes.

I've been searching for a klx110l (the Ls have an electric starter which I do not care about, but I do want the clutch the the Ls provide) but after discussing with another buddy today he kicked the idea of a YSR50 at me. A previous idea was building up an SSR110. Yes its a chinese clone, however it's a clone so I could throw OEM parts at it and get something decent in the end.

My goal is to only buy 1 bike, but I want a bike that will let me race in as many classes as possible. I managed to medal in F6 (2nd) and F7 (3rd) classes on his klx110, even though it took me 4-5 races to get used to the tiny wheels (holy crap 10" wheels are twitchy!)

I'm going to leave it open at this point. Kick out some ideas to me!

p.s. my neighbor bought an SSR50, the centrifugal clutch failed a month after purchase, he hit me up to fix it, I spotted the issue and yanked the engine (since SSR offered to replace the entire engine) and am waiting to see if they warranty it or not.

if you love your motorcycle, set it free.. if it comes back and hits you.. you highsided
