Hmmm...interesting. I wonder how this will all end.

I've never signed up, but I think supporting this change would be a positive thing. It seems obvious that with the explosion of motorcyclists over the past few years, that the AMA should have grown as well. I'd like to see AMA road racing make the necessary changes to take advantage of the huge increase in sportbike riders, trackday participants and new racers. There has to be a class that small privateer teams can not only be competitive in, but win. This feeder class will only improve competition in all classes, which makes for better racing, which will draw more spectators. More spectators means more sponsorship. I just don't see how that is so hard to understand and even implement. It's worked for SX and MX.

I've been reading those and checking often for updates since last weeks firings. At first I was confused after Youngbloods letter (you can see it @ www.SuperbikePlanet.com) but it all made sence after these RRWorld postings and John Ulrich's comments.

I'm thinking I agree with the thought of supporting this change as well. I've never been a member but may do so now.
