I stayed up way to late watching it. Is was just so much motorcycle awesomeness I couldn't pull myself away. The slow motion shots of the tires was ridiculous. Had no idea they would deform that much.

If you go to the IOMTT website they have the movie "TT3D, Closer to the Edge" for sale. It is a fully produced, HD movie that was released all over Europe focusing on Guy Martin and the TT. Incredible stuff. Wish we had it in theaters here. That race is on the bucket list for sure!! Check out some clips on YouTube. Those guys have balls the size of grapefruits!!

I'll check that movie out! My eyes were glued to the tv last night.. It was a rush watching it. Loved the shots from the camera mounted to the front of the bike.

Some of you smarties could possibly send a PM to an uber-cool moderator who just might be kinda, uh, tech-savvy enough to uh...

well, if you don't know where I'm going with this, don't bother with a pm.

Anyone know where I can pick up the "Closer To The Edge" in US-BluRay format? All I can find are UK-B2 formats and while I can probably get it to work on a PC, I'd like to play it on the big screen with the PS3.

Are you restricted to a disc? Doesn't Playstation do DLNA?

All I know is it looks great as an .avi file (no Pal/NTSC restriction, just play it on whatever) (playable on most DLNA players, PC via Windows media player, VLC, etc.)

I've never tried a British Blu-Ray, I'll look into it. Definitely want to watch that video preferably with surround sound.

If you have issues playing it through your PS, just get a laptop or something, put it on a USB stick and transfer it, then download VLC and use that as your media player, and hook it up to your projector.

Good deal, worse case I'll convert and burn it onto DVD. For now I'm good with a 22" LCD and headphones. Just for when I have people over or bring it to a buddies house I'll want it on the big screen.

One of my buddies has a bunch of old VHS tapes from Deal's Gap. Very 90s low budget style. Dudes were tearing it up!

Got back to see it finished, 24FPS rate on the original file is on the low side but can't complain. I use Any Video Converter (free) to change it over to DVD (.mpg) with specified rates and then any burning software will take it from there. AVC will convert any video file format to the more common ones. You can convert multiple files of different formats to a single format and it also has the feature of converting straight from a web link.

Can't remember why I named it that tbh, probably the 1st definition when I first got the Lenovo. LOL

It's bad enough I can't make out some English accents, but damn I can barely understand Wolverine aka Guy Martin.
