Is anyone watching?

This weekends race at the 'Ring was just awesome. Is anyone even watching? Can't believe no one here is talking about what Spies is doing this year in WSBK.

I saw it, I saw it! Pretty awesome.
I had just gotten home from the AMA race in Millville (WAY cool btw) to catch the SBK race on TV. I had to fix the baby a bottle during the 2nd race and when I got back Haga was nowhere to be found. What happened to him?

Got taken out. Don't remember if it was JohnnyR or someone else. Turn one and he got punched up the inside, although it was semi-clean, if that exists.

Spies doesn't get the best starts, but man does that dude come on quick in the opening laps.

I'm pretty sure it was Rea he tangled with.....it was a pure racing incident

Dude I am totally stoked about Spies charge...........If he does it right he can bring the title home to America. What he is doing over there as green as he is......is TRULY AMAZING.

Awesome news about his new contract too......one more year in WSBK and then he's gotta go to a satellite Yamaha MotoGP team because they don't currently allow rooks on factory teams.

Aparrently Rossi is not happy with the terms of Lorenzo's contract and has intimated he might look elsewhere in '11 or just tip out altogether. Toss in a tweak 'o the rulebook and Spies is sitting on a factory squad where, at least I believe, he belongs. Yamaha realizies the asset they have in Spies and will work hard to get him the best hardware

GO BENNY GO!

Been watching just the highlights since no cable. I wait for them to post full races.

Very excited for Spies. hope he can bring back the title to the US. Regardless, he is doing an amazing job!

I'm just amazed at his talent. How does a guy show up at a track he's never been on and lay down laps like that. Especially this weekends race when he had very little time on a dry track. Race 1 was incredible. Haga was just dejected at the end. Couldn't tell if it was the pain or the fact he just couldn't match Spies pace the last few laps and gave up.
