I'm gonna go try Penguin

I'm leaving tomorrow for 2 days at Loudon with Penguin Racing School. Rain is expected the whole first day and part of the 2nd but I'll make the best of it. Mustn't forget the fan to try to dry the suit overnight. Family obligations will limit my riding this season to just a few track days & some backwoods jaunts but I'll take what I can get!

I am such a genious...not!

I have this totally awesome Motorrad rain suit that kept me dry for the 800 mi rainy ride home from Chicago a few yrs back. Unfortunately, it's sitting in my closet at home. Crap. I never even thought of the damn thing until I got here. Just call me Einstein.

It was dry up there today. Did you shred it up?

tip-toed around in the rain 1st half of tues. It dried up after lunch so I spent the afternoon trying to learn the ins & outs. This track is tighter & more technical than the other 4 I've been to: bumps in awkward spots, crazy elevation, etc. Wednesday was dry all day, got faster & faster. Payed attn to some constructive criticism & tried to correct. Had a minor get-off late in the day trying to push harder & harder, no big deal - bike & rider fine thanks to frame/swingarm sliders, suit, & Veloce gloves. I feel like I got a bit of much needed refinement. I'll post some pics when I get 'em loaded.
ForceFed - Didn't see your post until now but was on a tight sched anyhow. Catch you next time.

I like skiing in the N.E. If you can ski and ride in these parts ... you can ski and ride anywhere!

I haven't been in a few years. Please tell me they haven't fix the small pot hole coming out of 3. Once you get comfy ... it is crazy fun! Going into and out of 6 can require jet fighter hick sequence from the sweet G's!

You may want to speak with JohnnyB on all the in's and out's of that track. I have to say he has the most time of anyone here on it.

It's better to have loved and lost than live with the psycho for life!
