I took my bike to the drag strip

It was quite a bit of fun, and I'll definitely go back.
My bike is a 2014 Ducati Monster 1200S.

A few things were weird, it was an import vs. Domestic street racing night.

They used what they called an "instant green" which meant as soon as staging was complete, the green light hit.

Because of the street racing theme, they were only reporting who won, and trap speed. This was a bit of a disappointment for me, but all the more reason to go back

I was the only bike that showed up, so I had to run solo.

My slowest runs (1st & 2nd runs) I had a trap speed of 117mph.

My best run of the night was a trap speed of 131mph and just as I thought I was learning how to launch it a big thunderstorm rolled through and put an end to my night .

Overall very fun, I kept the bike set exactly how I ride everyday, didn't touch tire pressure, adjust my traction control, or anything.

It would have been better to run on a night with a normal tree, and get time slips that had all the info, but for $15 it was definitely worth it.
