Might be a good move for him. I'd love to see hopper up front more.

Striking while the iron is hot? He is finally competitive, and at peace with the elusive GSV-R. Showcasing his talent with his best season yet. Might be a good move. How hot of a commodity is he though??

going from Suzuki to Kawasaki in motoGP is sort of like choosing between pooping in your left hand or your right hand; either way you've got poop on your hands.

I don't consider that as even a good lateral movement as Kawasaki is even a bit behind the Suzuki Development but, perhaps Hopper went for the Big Bucks this time out? Perhaps all the Kawasaki need is a good R&D (Developmental) guy and hopper if the perfect shoe in? At least, he's going to be with Bridgestone tires and he knows those well.

Kawasaki has been further up the finishing spots than I have seen in years past. My outlook is that Hopper will have some transition pains switching, but not nearly the hard road he has walked with Suzuki development.

Agreed but, at this point, Suzuki is further developed than Kawasaki and it will take him, yet, another year or so to get the Kawi where he feels comfortable with and, let's not kid ourselves... he ain't getting any younger!

Seems strange since the Suzuk is finally performing. Hooper has put in the time during the down years and now jumps ship?!!

Seems he would want to stay. Although as Soup mentioned and I said to Ang before I read the article....Hopper is a Monster Athlete and they are in tight with Kawi now...
