Hope This Rumor Is True

According to Superbikeplanet Hodgson may race a factory Honda in 08 and 09. I would love that to be true. Hodgson is a down to earth great racer. It would be a temporary patch to American Honda's issues but he should be racing somewhere. Might as well be the US where I get to see him.

Side not on why AMA racing paddock is cool...

You can ahve a conversation with Kevin Schwantz who treats you like any other guy he knows and answers questions politely for everyone and a buddy can introduse you to Jamie James and you can share comments about hot girls in the paddock.

Good times!!

I read that as well. A great replacement for the guy who quits when his head is not in it.

Honda needs to find some talent and a good wrench.

I also heard rumors that Josh hayes might be taking over Zemke's ride... I like Zemke but he has not impressed me in the least.

Say what you want about Duhamel but he was the only Honda fighting for 3rd spot... I am wondering when is Honda's time again to buy the Superbike Championship!

Honda will win when Spies leaves for GP and Mladin retires or has another off year cause of crashes and injuries.

The bike is just too good right now.

Duhamel is only good for third since 2002. Time to open up the ride for someone to devolp, not for someone to keep grasping.

VERY excited to see Hodgson returning, but as equally disappointed that DuHamel is his teammate and not Hayes.

I'm thinking Erion could do a better job with the 1000 anyway. Maybe they'll do it themselves with support from American Honda.

Cool to have Neil back. Ang is soooo happy.

Josh should have the other seat. Miguel will be out until after Daytona anyway.

They tried that with the RC-51 to no avail - HRC wont supply them with parts and they just dont have the budget to do it on their own. I LOVE seeing the support teams kicking factory butt, but, its just too costly to happen on the Superbike playing field. Im surpried they booted Jake, granted he hasnt done a whole lot, but , neither has anyone else ! Duhamel should go -- Give Josh his dues , but, I guess thats the Honda way - see also Colin Edwards, but, thats another rant !
Go Tommy !

Josh got hosed big time. He deserves another shot. Maybe back to Suzuki....? He ran well on a support team in Superbike.

Anxiously waiting Yamaha announcement...

Though I wish he were riding a Honda next year I would still cheer for him on anything else because I just like the guy. They should give him DiSalvo's bike since he can't do squat with it.
