The teams really seem to be pushing their fuel as far as it will go, as de Puniet and Stoner found out recently. Can someone shed some light on this for me? I can understand this kind of thing happening in the first couple rounds, but not 9 rounds into the season. Obviously you only want to carry as much fuel as you absolutely need, due to weight considerations, but is it worth having the bike run out of fuel or is something fouling fuel consumption calculations?
