If anyone is curious about the bikes, most of them are Yamaha RX100 2 strokes. They were immensely popular in India where I started riding. With all of 10 hp they were considered "superbikes"

Initially they were imported directly from Japan in the late 80s. Then they were made locally in India after Yamaha setup shop there.
