CBS needs to pull the plug on Greg and Kevin.

Commentating was horrible!

There were some very entertaining laps, but overall.... not happy with Coverage, again.

Maybe one day we will see motorsports coverage done right.

I thought the Stoner Rossi battle was some of the best MotoGP racing I've ever seen.

It was a great battle (maybe the best i have watched) and had it started a few laps later - even more suspense.

But the last few laps became completely non eventful, sadly.

I was certainly excited, but the climax was too soon. (heard that before)

+1 on what Evad said, catched the whole hour and a half from motogp.com, did I mentioned NO commercials or baffons for commentators? just not having to listen to any of our commentators is worth its price in gold.

Spoiler:

Great battle indeed, unfortunately (as hondaf4iguy stated), it left the last 7 laps to be the most boring laps ever. Freakin Rossi, as much as I hate to say it (I did go for the dramatic at first), he made Stoner one frustated dude and break his concentration he did. some of those passes were right down dirty and if the tables were reverse, Rossi would have been very vocal from the get go but... Karma is a bitch and stoner will eventually take the Championship away from here in the end.

Nicky needs to get the hell away from Honda get on that Ducati and start having some fun again, he is one frustated character. Dovizioso needs to get in that Repsol and spank Pedrosa a few times to show Rossi that the turd is not all that.

Spies was pissed to say the least, I overheard him saying that he thought the race was over and he let Elias catch up to him because of it!

The other thing I hate about the CBS coverage is they don't show the interviews of the top three riders. We didn't even get to hear from Stoner.

I used to to work for CBS... AGAIN THEY DIDN'T EVEN PROMOTE IT.
And the commentating was sloppy as ****.

Plus the whole explanation of every detail of motorcycle racing is irritating.
"the motorcycle has TWO wheels, which is different than a car, which has FOUR"

And Greg explaining that it was the clutch lever that Stoner was operating with his left hand. I couldn't believe it.

Swantz isn't all that great but I thing he is the only one that stands a chance at improving with time. Unfortunately he only does it occasionally. White and Spencer though are just horrible commentators and/or interviewers. White is a better commentator than pit lane reporter (he's just too corny trying to sound cool and asks the dumbest questions when he's reporting) while Spencer doesn't even have a clue what's going on in the race. They miss important racing stuff and point out trivial crap. I don't think I've seen a single race in the last few years on Speed that Spencer hasn't made at least a dozen blantant mistakes without correcting himself. It just sucks that I want to hear the engines so much and can't bring myself to mute the broadcasts. This has been a peeve of mine for so long that I was cheering when Spencer was out with laryngitis or whatever he had earlier this year and they replaced him with people that actually knew what was going on.

CBS would have been smarter to just take the standard MotoGP broadcast that Speed usually gets as those guys (as well as the ones for WSBK) actually make it even more entertaining. Sure the hicks might turn off CBS because there's somer 'ferinner' talking on the tv but they wouldn't watch it more than once anyway with the crap commentators we have here now.

We just have to rember , most of the people tuning in to watch it on CBS have NEVER see/ heard of / been to a motocycle race ever - they are just trying to make it make sence to those poor schmucks - Im sure alot of those folks didnt know that the clutch is on the handle bar , IM sure some of them were wondering if they had to use thier feet !

Yeah i missed the race on TV because my recorder screwed up the disc somehow. So when i tried to get information or at least a highlight reel i went to CBS sports website first... Not even a motorcycle category under their Racing section! WTF Over and Over! What is it with these damn idiots? So bought the event package from MOTOGP.com for 20 some bucks and watched it on the computer with the good commentators and no commercials + i got to hear Stoner whining like a pansy about the passes. Screw CBS they suck goat **** through a straw.

and one more thing why no rebroadcast of the race? Are there not enough people interested in watching it?
