Can we go racing yet?

Just go in a straight line, because it's all we have in ND.
This is from late last season when I was limping through serious trans issues; but still squeaked out quite a few <11.0 runs. I have no idea how to upload videos apparently, as I am as tech savvy as a hammer...

My first miniGP race is coming up a couple of weeks from now. I've never raced so this should be exciting, even if it is on a fiddy.

if you love your motorcycle, set it free.. if it comes back and hits you.. you highsided

Awesome! There is no better place to learn to ride hard and smooth than on a low HP bike on a road course! If you can spare a few ounces, you should try and get some gopro of it! And don't underestimate how quick those little buggers can go lol

It'll be footage from a ContourRoam, or an "unnamed camera" (I own one, but have had problems with every GoAmateur camera I have owned...so no longer support them.)

Tie down strap ... to compress the front forks. Which helps eliminate weight transfer on hard launches.

That is a super fancy $4 cinch strap that keeps my front end sucked down as far as possible. It hooks to some small brackets that are bolted to the bottom of my fork at the caliper mounts, and loops over the top fork clamp. Combined with a solid strut in place of my shock (my back tire is aboot 2" from the bottom of my undertail) it lets me launch harder and shave off time at the beginning of the track. My ET's dropped about .6-.7 seconds over the years with many little setup changes and lots of practice. It has a minimal effect on the trap speed (mph at the end of the track), as mph is more effected by horsepower than the launch/ acceleration.

This coming season should be a little more exciting and faster at the top end

In my usual fashion, while riding a borrowed bike I crashed!

Unfortunately one of the races was canceled due to lack of participation and mine was bumped up as I was preparing my cameras. End result: forward view is shot in derp format.

my favorite race, I diced it up with a ~12 your old that you see at the first of the video.
last race of the day for me, doing the track backwards. gopro facing the rear I crash
same as above, forward view.

End results for the day? Out of 7 races....

Thanks to scrat for reminding me to post up!

I have a feeling a klx110 is going to turn into my most expensive bike over the next few years, thanks to how much fun it is!

That's Gulf Coast Kartway. The event is put on by TexasMiniGP. They race in Katy and Denton.

Makin me all jealous... Finishing up my ports/ head assembly this week/next, hoping to get my cases all cleaned up and laid out this weekend, possibly start assembling my lower end... Fortunately, the Great Dirt Blizzard of 2015 makes me not even want to go outside, so I haven't been too antsy yet to go for a rip.

First day at the track with the new bike, this was such a weird launch I don't know how to describe what happened. But I had fun!
