Back from the 1/8th mile.

I have a couple of videos a buddy took that he's sending to me, I'll post them when I get a chance. This was my first time racing a bike of any sorts down the drag strip and I... I need some work. I was running with a buddy though who has done this a couple times before, we ended up running almost the same times (His best was [email protected]). Sucks because I was probably going to beat him but during my best 60' of the night I messed up my 1st-2nd shift.

Bike + Mods:
2003 Hayabusa w/ 19.5k miles
Lowering Strap
145lb rider

Conditions:
Hot and humid as HELL

Best:
60' - 1.82 (Not the same run as the best ET/MPH)
1/8 ET - 6.87
1/8 MPH - 110.76

2003 Suzuki GSX1300R

Theory is when you know everything, but nothing works. Practice is when everything works but you don't know why. In my shop theory and practice are combined, nothing works and I don't know why.

Eddyville, they were running test and tune from 8-10 and midnight madness from 10-whatever (I stopped at midnight and went home).

Test and tune was pretty decent, but about 10:30-11p when all those kids with street tires got out there, it started taking all the rubber off the track and at 11 the dew started to set in so I threw in the towel.
