5 members = free pit and party

OK WT,
I don't know how many of you check out the home page but there is a really cool track day charity event happening on September 29th at the Carolina Motorsports Track in Kershaw, SC to benefit ovarian cancer. Now, as a new rider it has been recommended to me by some of our more experienced riders (hondaf4i and Snikwad) to look into track instruction and avoid developing bad habits. When I saw this event it seemed like a really good opportunity to kill a few birds with one stone. So I made a call to the event coordinator John (also a WT member) to inquire, because I wanted to make sure there was going to be instructors etc. It turns out this will be like any other track day (so I've been told), with skill lessons and drills for ALL experience levels. You can check out the site for yourselves at http://www.gaovariancancer.org/ovocycle/

Long story short : John even sweetened the deal by offering us a dedicated Wrist Twisters pit area tent and to pay our entry to the party the night before if we can get 5 people from WT to sign up. So who's in???

There's your plan and then there's God's plan.........
Your's doesn't matter.

Would love too but my buddies bike is completely set up for it, only needs the radiator replaced and it's just setting for right now, i'm trying to talk him into doing it cause he has extra cash flow. Wished I could go. Some day!! Maybe I'll look into putting tires that would make it track day possible, I have to get tires shortly anyways and I drive way more street than dirt but was figuring Anakees just for the possibility of off road.

I have been running the Pirelli Scorpion Syncs.
Good wear and holds up to a pretty good lean.

Kevin had done track days with his 1200 on the anakees as well.

I just imagined that dual purpose wouldn't pass tech, would they be different from track to track. JohnC didn't think the dual purpose tires would pass, but maybe i was talking a different tire at the time. Looked on the website not finding any requirements really.

Hey guys, BTW, I'm serious about this. I want to see a bunch of y'all down there. I'll put up a 10x20 tent just for you guys if you can get 5 or more down here, and I'll pony up the $20 a head for each of you to party the night before, or you can each bring one non-riding guest for free, your choice.
