    Hey Brian,
I'm sure LDH is right because he has probably dyno'd them before and after. I didn't really notice any difference from a rideability standpoint. It still runs great and I don't have a PCIII, but if I did I guess you could make adjustments. I did have the bike dyno'd afterwards but only to check the air-fuel ratio to make sure I wouldn't screw up the engine and burn up valves and they said that looked fine. I converted mine over 50K miles ago and would do it again in a second.

    Hi Rick,

Yep, pinstripes for 17" wheels, found on TradeMe. Easy to put on, after a good clean of the wheels, have been there about 2 1/2 years now, no issues.

When I got my bike originally, I felt it lacked a bit of colur below the waistline, and the stripes have added it - I'm real happy with the look now. you might be able to find some red reflective ones these days, to add a bit of safety, too.

Enjoy your bike, they are a great beastie.

    Cheers,
    Brian

    Hi K1w1Boy,

I'm from Christchurch and have recently got a 900 Hornet, same colour as yours, 2005.
The pin striping on your wheels, is it something you have done?
Keen to get some on my bike.

My bike is bog standard and I'm enjoying it just fine like it is. Am tweaking the suspension a wee bit but it may be pointless due to our less than optimal roads we still have here.

I have a small Givi screen which seems to keep the wind off ok. Haven't done much touring yet but I did enjoy riding it back from Nelson as my first ride.

    Cheers
    Rick
